On December 13, 9th graders at Chaney High School were celebrated for their achievements on the honor roll with a special brunch that included their loved ones. Scholars who earned A's and B's were recognized with a certificate and Cowboys Cash to use at the Chaney team store.
Additionally, special recognition was given to scholars who maintained excellent attendance—with over 90 percent attendance—and had no disciplinary issues throughout the school year.
The Superintendent's Award was also presented to students who achieved grades of 95 percent or higher, as well as to one scholar who will be eligible to take college courses next year.
