Volunteering at Youngstown City School District

Thank you for considering volunteering at Youngstown City School District. Any parent, guardian, or community member who wishes to volunteer, must complete a volunteer application available on the YCSD employment website. In addition to the application process, volunteers will also complete a background check.

Volunteer assignments are based on the schools’ needs. With 14 schools, plus preschool, there are endless opportunities to play a critical role in a scholar’s life just by giving a little of your time!

For more information about volunteering, please contact Linda Hoey, Director of Family Engagement, at 330-740-8776 or Linda.Hoey@Youngstown.k12.oh.us.
