The recent meeting of the Superintendent Scholar Advisory Council was a significant step towards shaping the future of YCSD. In their groups, scholars explored the value of teachers and the opportunities they aspire to within the district. When and where we can, we are committed to turning their ideas into reality, and we look forward to the positive changes they will bring to the district.
The Council encompasses middle school and high school scholars who, throughout the school year, meet with Superintendent Batchelor and district administration to discuss a wide range of topics, including school culture. We appreciate our scholars' transparency and using their voices for the betterment of other scholars!
